Rottler
Programmable Power Stroke Automatic Honing Machine

Overview
Hone perfect identical
bores in the automatic cycle mode. The machine will straighten
tapered an out of round bore conditions automatically
(unattended). Try that on any other brand machine!
Step 1. Hone the
first hole, Program rough and finish pressure, set stroke feed
rate and RPM for perfect cross hatch pattern, verify final size
with a bore gauge, set the calibrated stop ring, the machine will
repeat size every time.
Step 2. Float
hone head to second hole press the auto cycle button, walk away
while the machine finishes the next hole exactly the same every
time...It's
really that easy.
Today's standards
are becoming more demanding.
Progressive engine builders must be responsive to the dynamic
changes in the industry. With the latest model ring seating
requirements and the diverse number of block configurations, the
machinist needs the versatility offered by Rottler H Series honing
machines. Cylinder finish is becoming a science as the demands
continue to grow. Graphical representation of the cylinder finish,
such as that displayed on an Abbott-Firestone Curve, provide a
qualitative analysis of the characteristics of the surface finish.
The Rk family of parameters directly portrays the surface
characteristics over a given sampling length.
Hines "Eliminator" Crankshaft Balancer
Machine Description
The The Eliminator Crankshaft Balancer features new digital control
technology from the company that has set the measures of performance
for over 20 years. A rugged hard-bearing suspension that gives high
sensitivity and permanent calibration. Part set ups are menu driven,
allowing an operator to quickly change between single and two-plane
balance operations. The balancer will calculate amount and angle.
